The future of B2B Integration: Key insights for your business

December 17, 2024 Stass Pertsovskiy

As your B2B integration partner, we’re committed to helping you stay ahead in an ever-changing landscape. To guide our strategy, we’ve been collaborating with IDC to explore the latest trends shaping the industry. Here are a few key insights:

1. Transformation comes with challenges

IDC revealed that 53% of companies have implemented a new primary B2B integration solution in the past two years, with many having implemented their primary solution prior to the widespread adoption of AI. But implementing a new solution is only a partial fix to business and technical challenges. Many companies find that instead of meeting the goal of replacing a legacy solution with a newer tool, they are now supporting two solutions, missing an opportunity to rectify some of the key pain points in their approach to data exchange.

For Axway, this underscores the importance of investing in a consistent and unified platform that helps businesses truly evolve - not just upgrade - how they handle integration.

2. The B2B ecosystem is evolving

We’ve been working closely with IDC to understand where businesses are in their journey toward a more adaptive B2B ecosystem. From hybrid approaches and EDI and API convergence to emerging compliance mandates, the future of integration is filled with opportunities - and challenges.

You can find the link to the full article in that blog above, and we’d love your perspective on these changes! We’ve created a short survey to gather your thoughts. And if you’d like to discuss this further, I’d be happy to connect at the Summit or anytime.

3. Axway: a recognized Leader in B2B

We’re thrilled that IDC has named Axway a Leader in the B2B Middleware Vendor Assessment. For me, this recognition highlights the success of our product strategy, customer focus, and dedication to providing tools that truly align with your needs.
