Innovation is Axway’s lifeblood, especially in the realm of Managed File Transfer (MFT). It drives us to develop cutting-edge solutions that meet your evolving needs and ensure secure, efficient, and seamless data exchanges.
However, this relentless pursuit of innovation also presents significant challenges. Rapid technological advancements require continuous adaptation and investment in research and development, which we have been doing for the last four decades.
In the late 1970s and early 1980s, computing rapidly expanded across industries, making data exchange increasingly critical. Back then, IT systems were largely based around mainframes, and there was no reliable or secure way to connect them.
A breakthrough emerged: direct transfers between banking systems, providing speed and security for the first time. And so, the journey of Transfer CFT began. Fast forward to 2024, we reached the 40-year milestone which, for an IT solution, is truly something special.
We hosted a celebration in Paris and feel like sharing this Axway family moment with you, since you have contributed to this journey next to us.

Balancing the integration of new features with maintaining the reliability and security of existing systems can be complex. Additionally, staying ahead of competitors and responding to ever-changing market demands necessitates bold decision-making and a forward-thinking mindset.
Fast forwarding to 2025, we anticipate a drastic change in the MFT industry.
