SEB Kort is a payment solution provider and the leading provider of credit card payments in the Nordic region. SEB Kort had two main challenges to meet:
- Performance to address peak activities the morning and month end. Mapping information between multiple internal systems and numerous external partners.
- Regulatory Compliance PCI-DSS approved end-to-end process that leads to even more performance demands including decryption/encryption of data at each step.
Axway B2Bi is at the core of the business handling the necessary data transformation and mapping. Axway partners expertise in the design and deployment of the solution was key to SEB Kort’s success.
Hello, my name is Urban Broberg. I'm the manager of the Information and Integration Team within Stockholm. SEB Kort is a payment solution provider fully owned by SEB, one of the leading financial institutions in the Nordic region. We are a market leader in Nordic corporate payment solutions, issuing cards under our own brand "YouRecord" and for partners with their company logos. Our customer base includes a large number of corporates, SMEs, and approximately 4 million private customers.
As a payment solution provider, we handle a significant volume of payment information. Each month, we process over 300,000 files, with peak activity in the mornings and month-end periods. The core of our operations involves mapping internal information to partner information using the Axway engine, a critical system ensuring compliance with data standards and regulations such as PCI DSS and GDPR.
We are currently upgrading our platform to a new generation due to the end-of-life of our current platform and new compliance requirements. I work alongside Magnus McPheat, an external consultant at SP Couch. We leverage the B2Bi platform, integrating our own tools to enhance collaboration and efficiency among team members. This has significantly reduced time to market and improved configuration quality and monitoring.
We rigorously adhere to PCI DSS requirements with the support of Axway, our long-term partner. Our existing B2Bi implementation is stable and efficient, supporting our current operations well. We are actively migrating from our old Excel B platform to B2Bi, leveraging Axway's expertise and maintaining our robust partnership.
Our goal is to create a more maintainable environment with a high degree of automation, aligning with best practices and ensuring continued compliance and efficiency.
