It was such a joy for us to hear our customers at Axway Summit events worldwide share the stories of their partnership with us – some of which started more than 20 years ago – with other more recent customers and partners.
Consider a few examples that were shared of how Axway’s B2B Integration platform is helping move supply chains globally – from champagne to rubber tires, comfort food, or prescription medication. Many customers and partners told us that seeing how others implement our solutions and process their B2B flows was extremely valuable to them, so let’s dive right in!
Supplying the Golden Arches around the globe
Established in 1974 with a "handshake agreement" to serve McDonald's restaurants in Chicago, HAVI Supply Chain has since expanded significantly in size, global reach, and the variety of services and customers it serves.
At our Axway Summit event in Lyon, France, Suma Rajappa (Solution Owner, Integrations) and Daniël Stoker-Macaya (Senior Manager Integrations) shared some experiences and best practices for ensuring non-stop logistics operations.
The company effectively coordinates its B2B partner ecosystem by leveraging Axway Managed Services in the AWS cloud. With more than 500 million cases of product delivered to 38 countries last year, it’s critical for HAVI Supply Chain to have visibility throughout the supply chain.
That’s why the team uses Axway B2Bi for everything from order processing, supplier collaboration, invoicing and payment processing, to inventory management and shipping & logistics.
They benefit from enhanced efficiency and automation, with fast partner onboarding and strong adaptability – a must for global supply chains. Resiliency and security are maintained throughout the ecosystem thanks to strong authentication, load balancing, disaster recovery, and responsive compliance with evolving industry standards.
Outstanding supply chain excellence with a modern cloud B2B ecosystem
Operating across 3 continents, with 1.7 billion in revenue, FM Logistic is committed to crafting sustainable supply chains. In a world of disruptions, they champion a 'best-in-class' model leveraging cutting-edge technology. They have been working with Axway since 1998.
At his keynote presentation on FM Logistic’s digital innovation journey for a sustainable omnichannel supply chain, Group Information Systems Director Alexandre Brauner shared some insights into the IT department’s strategy to democratize its data.
FM Logistic’s IT department strives to make all data available via a business layer, so that any employee can access it when needed and leverage it to identify operational insights.
A SaaS & Cloud first approach helps keep systems and business agile, while also contributing to the overall company strategy for sustainability.
Brauner also mentioned that to achieve these aims, they needed a partner or solution without any bespoke development. It’s one reason FM Logistic choses to leverage the whole power of Axway: they require excellence in automation and high level of information security, and our B2B Integration platform makes it so that they don’t need to spend the time or resources to customize every flow or manage low level infrastructure.
After all, Brauner points out that without data flows, there are no supply flows.
Céline René (Integration and EDI Manager) and Raphaël Weber (Middleware and Urbanisation Manager) dove a bit deeper into the technical aspects of this collaboration during their breakout session.
Axway operates the infrastructure and technical solution in the cloud. FM Logistic has full autonomy to set up the flows and develop the mappings. With this model, they can be more reactive during projects while still benefiting from strong expertise.
The group completed their cloud migration of B2Bi in December 2023, with more than 3000 mappings and 322 activities migrated.
Next, they are looking to develop stronger EDI/API integration to benefit from newer, real-time capabilities. And of course, the push to democratize data within the enterprise continues.
It’s clear that FM Logistic has built up a state-of-the-art cloud B2B ecosystem to power its non-stop operations. And we were honored to present them with the Transformation Excellence Award for these efforts!
Beyond bubbles: crafting B2B integration for Moët Hennessy
Moët Hennessy relies on Axway Managed Cloud Services to fully handle their B2B integration needs, from order taking to distribution including stock management.
At EMEA Summit in France, Supply Chain & Purchasing IT Platform Manager Bérangère Tomsin and EDI Solution Owner Julien Vigier shared how Axway B2Bi helps support both Moët Hennessy’s customer-facing and logistic flows.
Axway and Olaneo Consulting, a key deployment partner, bring value to the group on several levels, such as speeding up the business cycle with harmonized processes or securing the Moët Hennessy ecosystem and optimizing costs.
The group is also advancing its ecological transition challenge with more paperless flows.
Bérangère and Julien shared that future plans include continued optimization, notably around time to market for projects & features and more proactive service offerings. Like so many enterprises, they are also engaged in modernization efforts, such as with SAP S/4HANA migration.
