Been at this role for about six years now. My background is actually a little bit unusual for CIOs, came up through the infrastructure side. So I've got about 20, 25 years of experience in infrastructure security. When you look at my work experience, it really kind of folded into what CoVantage is doing from a digital standpoint. So, I kind of hit the ground running up in 2018 when I started here. Really did some really fun projects with the team, but really drew me to their mission overall, too That was, probably the most important part of, you know, choosing to work at CoVantage, and then choosing me was because of the belief in the mission. We serve all, regardless of wealth. That's the first part of our mission. But I think that really when you look at that and how we do that is we give value back to the members. Because that's ultimately why the credit union exists, is because of that. I do a lot of metal work. I do a lot of, probably just metal work, is probably my passion there, from that standpoint. I spent a lot of time with my family too, as well. One is I speak Russian, which, not a lot of people do. I guess that's kind of an oddity. The other thing is that, you know, as far as the metal work goes, I like doing art projects in metal, too. A lot of people don’t know I do that either. I had a really good mentor. She was actually a CIO of an organization that I'd worked for prior, and she was an awesome mentor, she had always told me be the most authentic version of yourself, because you really can't be anyone else. And, that was really sound advice, and I'd give that advice out to everybody. Just besides the mission at CoVantage, I think the team is exceptional. I do think that when I came up here, I was consulting and getting to know the team, it was an amazing team and really the first rate people, first rate, just individuals and some of the most humble people you meet, from that standpoint. But the surrounding community, too, has made CoVantage, as well, small town like Antigo, and just the relationships that are here, the people's trust in the institution, I think is important too, but just the overall trust that members place with us. I think that's exceptional. #KnowTheCustomer #behindthescene #CoVantage
