We are using two Axway MFT products. We have Axway CFT and Axway ST in our portfolio. Axway CFT is used for our internal file transfers as example from an application to another application and is regionally customized. We have Axway ST which is used for our external file transfers as example to our banks and it's more regionally centralized and available in our global data centers. We have more than 350 application teams and business units which are using Axway CFT for their file transfers and their business processes, and in total we are talking about 70,000 data transfers on weekdays and 50,000 data transfers on weekends with a data volume around 280 GB per day. Especially for the factory, Axway CFT is a really critical product as we are exchanging the data from one of our factory critical applications to the others, and it's really important that the data is receiving in time on the partner system, so that the after processes can start in the right time. To give one example we have some factory critical applications where via 1 CFT flow, 2,500 files get transferred on each day and they have multiple such flows. So we decided to start a project to offer a managed CFT on the cloud. The first idea was that we are starting that we are only managing the CFT components, but then we decided it would be a better idea also to extend our offering maybe in the future also with ST that we are doing also the cloud infrastructure operating and that's why we built it up. Because in Japan there is a higher risk of earthquakes and in case something will happen then our connection would be down and with this, we cannot guarantee in high availability for our critical transfers that's why we decided to migrate to the maximum resilience express route connection. Of course, the biggest point I would say is that we normally do not have any interruptions so when everything is established and built up and in place, the Axway products are running really stable and just in time. #CommercialVehicles #MFT #Cloud
