Lean how supply chain ensures global logistics operations with B2B integration using Axway Cloud Managed Services.
HAVI Logistics was founded in 1974. We are originally from the U.S., and the company has been serving McDonald's as one of our biggest customers ever since. Since then, we've also diversified to different customers, geographically spreading out in Asia as well as Europe.
We now serve our customers on three different continents and have been growing together with them ever since. We need to ensure that we are offering standardized solutions that enable us to quickly onboard new customers or suppliers, as this is what allows us to operate flexibly in the market.
As HAVI, we play a fundamental role in the supply chain of our customers. Timely delivery is very important in every supply chain. To ensure that it works, all the messages that are exchanged through the B2B solution are business-critical every day. Every single order and every single invoice needs to be reliable and on time.
All innovations are under the cloud, and we have to scale up to that mark. To create a simplified solution, B2Bi is the one that the cloud solution helps us. The main use cases for B2Bi that we are currently using at HAVI include the order process. We have supplier orders, such as purchase orders, and customer orders called sales orders. The B2B cloud fulfills all these requirements.
Then we have invoices. The invoice process is more towards payment, and we have our SAP application to manage both purchase invoices and customer invoices. With the use of Axway Cloud Managed Services, Axway helps us manage the entire application, including development, deployment, and monitoring.
In terms of security, the latest security protocols, TLS 1.2 and 1.3, as well as ISO standards, are used at Axway, which helps us enhance our security. For performance optimization, we are using best practices in the industry, following all the standards.
I think what is strong about the partnership with Axway is the personal attention they provide to the customer. If we have questions or concerns, it’s always quite easy to reach out, discuss, and get answers, which helps us greatly. That is the strongest point about the collaboration—it's quite personal. There is attention to your needs as a customer, and you are heard, which is important.
