Workbench Q1 2026 feature updates

This quarter, Axway introduces Axway Workbench as the central operational layer for Managed File Transfer, helping organizations improve visibility, reduce operational risk, and streamline day‑to‑day MFT operations across hybrid environments.

Driving more efficient and resilient MFT operations

Workbench helps organizations reduce the cost and overhead of regular MFT operations. Workbench provides operations teams with a consolidated health view across SecureTransport and Transfer CFT environments, making it easier to monitor system status, detect issues early, and reduce the overhead of fragmented tooling. By bringing key operational signals into a single workspace, teams can respond faster and operate with greater confidence.

Faster troubleshooting and day-to-day operational agility

Workbench strengthens operational agility by bringing together the information and actions teams need to manage MFT environments more efficiently. Troubleshooting and remediation workflows provide access to key operational details such as logs and transfer context, while enabling follow-up actions like resubmission when needed. This helps teams move more quickly from issue detection to resolution and reduces the manual effort required to investigate incidents.

In addition, authorized users can perform lifecycle actions including start, stop, and restart from the same interface used for monitoring and diagnostics. This reduces friction in day‑to‑day support and improves service continuity.

Proactive alerting and compliance support

Workbench strengthens proactive operations through configurable notifications that highlight late files, abnormal file sizes, failures, and availability issues. Certificate visibility and alerting further reduce risk in a traditionally fragmented and high‑impact area, helping organizations avoid unexpected disruptions while supporting auditability and compliance‑driven requirements.

Enabling shared operations and self-service

Designed for collaboration, Workbench provides a shared operational workspace with fine‑grained access control. Teams across operations, support, and service ownership can access the data relevant to their role, enabling smoother collaboration, reducing reliance on a small number of experts, and supporting operational self‑service. This shared context improves efficiency while maintaining appropriate governance.

Flexible deployment options

Workbench supports multiple deployment models to align with different infrastructure strategies. Organizations can choose Axway‑managed deployments on AWS for a streamlined operating model, customer‑managed deployments on AWS for greater control, or hybrid environments connected through Bridge. This flexibility allows teams to adopt Workbench in line with their cloud, governance, and transition requirements.
