Enabling seamless and secure cloud integration

This release marks a significant step forward in cloud adoption.

Transfer CFT now supports securely storing its runtime state in Amazon S3, enabling more resilient and flexible deployments in containerized and Kubernetes environments. This removes the dependency on shared file systems, which are often restricted by security or infrastructure policies, while simplifying disaster recovery through cloud‑native services. The result is greater portability, improved resilience, and smoother alignment with modern cloud operating models. See additional details here.

At the same time, Transfer CFT extends cloud integration by supporting the access of Google Cloud Storage through private endpoints allowing organizations to exchange data with cloud storage services without exposing transfers to the public internet. This capability strengthens security and compliance while enabling hybrid and multi‑cloud strategies.

Predictable and controlled folder monitoring

To support environments where execution order is critical, Transfer CFT introduces FIFO (First‑In, First‑Out) processing for folder‑based file monitoring. Files are now processed strictly in the order they are received, ensuring deterministic behavior across workflows. This is particularly valuable for financial, supply chain, and batch‑oriented processes where sequence integrity is essential to downstream systems and business accuracy.

Stronger security and platform coverage

Transfer CFT continues to strengthen secure data exchange by supporting larger PGP envelope sizes, enabling more advanced encryption scenarios and richer metadata.

At the same time, ongoing platform updates ensure alignment with enterprise environments, including support for z/OS 3.2 and IBM i 7.6, helping organizations protect and extend the value of their existing infrastructure investments.

Improved visibility and day‑to‑day usability

Operational visibility has been enhanced with deeper insight into SSH transfer activity, allowing teams to better understand and monitor secure exchanges. Learn more about tracked objects here.

Usability improvements further simplify daily operations, with clearer navigation, more readable data presentation, and streamlined access to key information. These refinements reduce cognitive load for frequent users and help teams manage Transfer CFT more efficiently.

Reminders about Transfer CFT feature deprecations

As a reminder, Transfer CFT follows the Axway Product Life Cycle policy (PLC 3.1). Security updates and improvements are provided for versions running on platforms in mainstream support. Platforms in extended support receive security updates only. Customers are encouraged to regularly review supported platforms and plan upgrades accordingly to ensure continued access to fixes, enhancements, and the highest level of protection. Fixes for correcting blocking/service-down issues or critical security vulnerabilities are delivered only for update releases in Maintenance status (released within the past 12 months).

  • JPI API has been deprecated since March 2022 (with the 3.10 version). That feature will be removed in Transfer CFT 3.10.2606 (June Update)

  • Folder Monitoring via UCONF has been deprecated since March 2022 (with the 3.10 version). That feature will be removed in Transfer CFT 3.10.2606 (June Update)
