Smals | Supporting the Belgium e-Government services with a flexible and secure APIM platform
Learn more about our customers: One of the main goals of the Belgium government is to engage more with citizens and with the enterprises in a self-service manner. Smals, the ICT service provider for the Belgium government, is using the Axway Amplify APIM Platform for social security, employment, and healthcare e-services. With a huge volume of transactions (1.2 billion transactions per month and those peak loads go up to 2000, 3000 requests per second), SMALS needed a par performant tool. As, they are integration one or two new APIS each month, they also selected Amplify for the easy and quick APIM deployment it provides. Last but not least, security was a key criterion, as they are managing sensitive data as patient medical information shared with pharmacies and doctors
